Crispy Ayam Goreng

How to make the yummiest 3-ingredients fried chicken recipe!
Growing up, crispy ayam goreng (fried chicken) has always been a staple dish in our family. It is known as the simplest dish to make that can easily pair well with a plate of white rice or a bowl of hot noodles. Not only that, but it also reminds me dearly of my childhood since this is homemade and my mum will always make this for us at anytime of the day.

Ingredients

  • 1 bowl Cooking Oil I use canola oil
  • 500 g Chicken parts Parts of your choice
  • 1 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp Salt

Instructions

  • Prepare a medium-size wok with oil and turn the heat to high
  • Wash the chicken parts and ensure that they are dry before adding the next ingredients
  • Add in 1 teaspoon of turmeric powder
  • Add in 1 teaspoon of salt
  • Mix them well until the chicken is evenly coated
  • Once the oil is hot, turn down the heat to medium and add in the marinated chicken
  • Let it fry until golden brown for about 3-5 minutes
